# What You'll Need:

→ Meats

01 - 5 oz ground beef
02 - 1.5 oz sliced pepperoni (approximately 12 slices)

→ Dairy

03 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
04 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

→ Dough

05 - 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough

→ Vegetables & Sauce

06 - 1/2 cup pizza sauce, plus extra for dipping

→ Spices & Seasonings

07 - 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
08 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
09 - Salt and pepper, to taste

→ For Assembling

10 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
11 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil or parsley (optional, for garnish)

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dried Italian herbs. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5 minutes. Drain excess fat and set aside to cool slightly.
03 - Roll out pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to a rectangle approximately 12 x 10 inches.
04 - Spread pizza sauce evenly across the dough, leaving a 3/4-inch border around the edges. Evenly distribute cooked ground beef over the sauce. Arrange pepperoni slices on top, then sprinkle with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
05 - Starting from a long side, roll dough tightly into a log, sealing the edge by pinching. Slice the log into 8 equal pieces.
06 - Arrange roll ups cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet. Brush tops with olive oil.
07 - Bake in preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until roll ups are golden brown and cheese bubbles.
08 - Allow to cool for 3 minutes. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired. Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It’s like your favorite pizza, but in a handheld snack you can make in under 40 minutes.
  • The kids cheer for these at parties, but honestly, grown-ups hover for seconds just as often.
02 -
  • Don’t overfill the dough, or it’ll split open as it bakes.
  • Let the beef cool a few minutes before adding, or you’ll melt the cheese prematurely and make assembly sticky.
03 -
  • Any leftovers can crisp right up in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for 5–7 minutes—the crunch returns like magic.
  • Letting the dough warm a few minutes after opening makes rolling much easier and less prone to cracking.
